Were you born here in Örebro? Perhaps you are one of the many who have moved here? Or came home again after a time away? Despite the fact that in the rest of the country it's common to make fun of Örebro and our dialect, it has long been popular to move here. In the mid 1800s only about 5000 people lived in Örebro. Then came the railway and industries and 100 years later there were 60 000 inhabitants here. If we had the same growth rate today, Örebro would have 1.7 million inhabitants in 100 years time.
