More than a roof over your head

If we believe that we have a housing crisis now we need only think of the first half of the 1900s. Many people lived in overcrowded conditions, cold and poor without running water and with a toilet in the yard. Something needed to be done, and be done immediately. In the 1950s and 60s, therefore, well-planned residential areas on the town's outskirts were built which made Örebro known as "the model town".  There were many grandiose ideas, but today, with the benefit of hindsight, we can see that not everything turned out as intended. Like the windows between the bathrooms and kitchens in the apartments of Baronbackarna ...
